The Twitter Collaborative Fiction Experiment

Welcome.

This is the blog of the TCFE (Twitter Collaborative Fiction Experiment), you won't find the story here, sorry. At the moment the only way to keep abreast of the fiction is by subscribing to this feed (if that works, which it might not, I'm working on it though)

The TCFE is a mad idea where people contribute to a continuing fictional story by submitting replies to @TCFE on Twitter. Unfortunately there are rules, if there werent it would just get even more insane than it already is (and we haven't even started yet). The rules are as follows:
  1. Send contributions to the story to @TCFE using your Twitter account, you have to have a Twitter account to take part I'm afraid. Contributions sent using other sources will not be recognised.
  2. No more than 3 consecutive contributions in a row. This is mainly to prevent the story being hijacked by one person. Once you've used your 3 shots you must wait for another 3 (from anyone, they don't have to be from one person) before contributing again.
  3. Contributors must follow TCFE on Twitter.
This blog is where I'll be posting news and updates regarding the experiment, it may move to somewhere else but I'll warn you in plenty of time. I may also look into publishing periodical 'chapters' if I can figure out an easy way to collate them into a form a little more readable than a Twitter stream.

Let the TCFE commence!
